A third mate on a midwater tuna trawler for many years, Queeg reluctantly took early retirement after double knee-replacement surgery. With much patience and hard work in physical therapy, Queeg is now active again in the Bangor, Maine Habitat for Humanity--he leads the demolition team. Queeg's mantra is to treat every day as precious, to make no excuses, and to expect the best from people.
