It takes a certain type of patient personality to be a good octopus wrangler. It doesn't hurt to have springy long arms tipped with high-power water nozzles either. Konrad has both. Retired now after 43 years working at the San Diego research aquarium, he still goes in every day and mans his octopus-ink-flavored popcorn stand. So far, he's the only one who likes to eat it.
